MACV provides a structured assistance program giving the homeless veteran support to once again become a productive member of the community, confidence to rebuild relationships and knowledge that the community recognizes and cares about them and their service to our country. Child & Youth Services – 88th Regional Readiness Command
Child & Youth Services supports readiness and well-being of geographically dispersed families by reducing the conflict between military mission requirements and parental responsibilities. This includes helping to access child care for Army Reserve Families at a reduced rate, connecting AR youth with after school and weekend outreach services, participating in community support networks that help reduce stress on “suddenly military” kids, offering summer camp opportunities for Military youth, providing many Army Reserve youth leadership opportunities, and bringing awareness into the community about the effects of “suddenly military” life.

Barbara Schneider Foundation
The Barbara Schneider Foundation is working with its partners in law enforcement, courts, corrections, mental health, and social services and health care systems to improve the response to those in mental health crisis and to prevent mental health crises. Disabled American Veterans
With more than 1.2 million members, Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families. The organization accomplishes this goal by providing free assistance to veterans in obtaining benefits and services earned through their military service. It is fully funded through its membership dues and public contributions. It is not a government agency and receives no government funds. DAV is the foremost representative of the interests of disabled veterans and their families, their widowed spouses and their orphans before federal, state, and local governments. Our National Legislative Program ensures disabled veterans are not forgotten by lawmakers.

88th Regional Readiness Command Family Support
Track family information on mobilized soldiers. Send deployment and return information to family members. Support Family Readiness Volunteers. Train Family Readiness groups. Train rear detachment officers to support soldiers and families as requested. Support Youth Service Programs, support Army Family Action Plan and Army Family Training as requested. Hennepin County Veterans’ Service
Hennepin County Veterans' Service helps veterans obtain VA Service-Connected Compensation, VA Non-Service Pension, VA Health Care,
Minnesota state dental, optical and financial benefits. We assist veterans in obtaining chemical dependency treatment, placement in state veterans’ homes, sober housing and many other benefits. JOBS for VETERANS, funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, is designed to help you find the job that best utilizes your skills. JOBS for VETERANS provides these unique, free, individualized services to veterans: Employment Services, Education and Skills Training, One-On-One Support, and Follow-Up Services.
